Milan enter Pennant race.

Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant is reportedly attracting interest from Italy with AC Milan the supposed suitor.

The Sun reported that Milan are keen to bring the winger to the San Siro next summer as a long term solution to the right wing position.

Pennant has seen limited playing time this season with Rafa Benitez preferring Nabil El Zhar and even Dirk Kuyt in his position.

The 25-year-old's contract will come to an end this season and the Rossoneri want to sign him to a pre-contract agreement this month to ward off possible rivals.

Spanish giants Real Madrid are also keeping tabs on the player and it has been reported that Pennant sees the Bernabau as his dream move so Milan might have a fair bit of convincing to do.

Still, Pennant's arrival will depend on whether David Beckham extends his current loan deal to a permanent one.
